We Love Our Edgewater, MD Community

Adam’s Edgewater is the the original Adam’s Ribs location to open. We have been serving up great food and fun since 1981. Ever since we opened our doors, we have embraced the Edgewater, Maryland area. The community’s love and loyalty have made us very thankful! That is why we give back to the Edgewater Community. Community involvement is important to Adam’s and giving back is our passion. Here are just some of the local service agencies, churches, schools and charities in this area we are involved in.

Giving Back to Edgewater Community

Zac Brown 5K - Edgewater Community CharitiesSilver Sponsor for Zach Brown Virtual 5K for Angioma AllianceCreated by Tracy Brown, in honor of her 12-year-old son Zach, who has experienced cavernous angioma. The main event takes place annually in October, right here in town. It serves to raise money for awareness, in addition to treatment and cure research. This is an important cause for us, as we are close friends with Zach’s mother. They are a kind family who is truly grateful and appreciative of the community’s efforts.

Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire DepartmentWe feel especially passionate about giving back to our local heroes. The crew at the Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department is currently working to fund a new facility. And, in honor of their tireless service, we hope to get them one step further in their endeavors.

Dannys Day - Edgewater Community InvolvementGold Sponsor for Dan Ernst Memorial Golf TournamentThis event benefits the Danny’s Day Foundation, which was created in honor of Daniel Patrick Ernst, who passed away unexpectedly in 2011. Pat and Neysa Ernst, owners of Moving Flavors, spearhead the foundation that helps raise money for various charities, like the Providence Center, for adults with developmental disabilities. Not to mention, Dan was the purveyor for our famous spices. We are honored to be a part of this charity!

Wounded Warrior Project: This is an amazing organization that helps raise awareness and gives back to our injured service members. We proudly do what we can to assist the Wounded Warrior Project. Adam’s has donated meals for events, plus given gift cards for fundraising raffles.
